Unified Communication & IP-Telephony Project Manager

UNIFIED COMMUNICATION & IP-TELEPHONY PROJECT MANAGER
POSITION GOALS: The Technical Project Manager has the primary responsibility to implement products and services within the service range through Project Management and acting as his/her own resource to deliver project related activities.
MAIN TASKS:
- Delivery of Unified Communication & Network related projects following company methodology standards
- Interaction with internal Stakeholders
- Work with the technical staff, management, providers, consultants and vendors to ensure all projects are tracked and delivered
- Co-operation and following guidance of Technical Lead Unified communication & IPTelephony
- Coordination of existing Unified communications & Network related projects
- Actively participate and support in an RfP phase and act as a resource to drive/manage subprojects & tasks
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid general Project Management experience and coordination methodology
- Engineering/Support role experience is preferred
- Perennial experience in the area of Unified communication, network, video, SIP trunking and IP-telephony (design and engineering)
- Expertise in the area of Cisco Unified Communication, Cisco Telepresence and Microsoft Unified Communication products
- IPT/VoIP experience in a Project or Support role (1+ years preferred)
- IP Networking experience in a Project or Support role (1+ years preferred)
- Experience in customer/client facing roles is advantageous
- Experience with technical documentation specification, review and updates
- ITIL is advantageous
- Microsoft Suite of products, especially Excel and PowerPoint, MS Project is advantageous
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Ability to effectively interact with internal/external resources and other business owners on a nontechnical level
- Ability to effectively interact with internal/external technical experts
- Ability to understand complex topics and abstract ideas
- Language: very good English writing and speaking
- Experience presenting with confidence to senior management
- Comfortable and experienced in working in a multicultural environment
