Ultrasound Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an ULTRASOUND SERVICE TECHNICIAN to join our client in Carlsbad, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Advanced, total system-level troubleshooting, maintenance and service repair needs on ultrasound equipment.
- Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
- Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are calibrated.
- Utilizing the escalation process to resolve customer service issues and conducting root cause analysis that will lead to effective problem solving.
- Managing vendor relationship with GE as needed.
- Additional responsibilities as needed.
- Some travel may be required.

Job Qualifications:
- Certification and demonstrated diagnostics, repair and troubleshooting skills working with GE Ultrasound products or equivalent required.
- BSEE/BSEET and three to five (3 - 5) years of experience servicing electronic equipment, or two (2) year formal education combined with appropriate high tech related experience.
- Must work well independently and work in a Matrix based organization with minimal direction.
- Strong time management skills, must be able to multitask and adapt to changes in priority.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong teamwork capabilities, experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based service process.
- Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns.
- Ability to identify and define problems and solutions.
