UK People Services Case Adviser- Fixed Term Contract

Projektbeschreibung

Fixed Term contract opportunities 6-9 months. Serco are currently seeking candidates that are experienced, practicing HR professionals for fixed term opportunities. To be considered candidates will be CIPD registered, and have been successfully operating within a HR environment. You will have had a broad spectrum of experience, and have the ability to advise hiring managers on employee engagement scenarios. This is a functional role within the people management advise team providing consultative and coaching advise across Serco Divisions within the UK. You will be required to provide consultative support to People Managers - Require high level of flexibility with travel to business units only in exceptional circumstances. The overall focus of role is coaching, mentoring and educating line managers to manage employees in line with policies, processes, mainly by telephone or email contact. Other key areas of responsibility: - Responsible for managing cases within an allocated business area based on business demand - Responsible for providing a professional, customer focus service of HR advice to the business. Education - Masters Degree or equivalent (A recognised HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent) preferred) - Fluency in a European language would be advantageous Experience - Excellent generalist/operational HR experience at HR adviser, HR Business Partner level or equivalent - Practical experience in managing complex ER cases, including redundancies, restructures, disciplinary and grievance cases and complex case management - Experienced at coaching/influencing managers remotely and in person. Knowledge and Skills - Have an up to date understanding and application of employment law and HR best practice - A commercial and pragmatic approach to providing HR solutions - Confident operating within a client-facing environment, and able to demonstrate excellent relationship management skills - e.g. influencing, stakeholder management, dealing and having with difficult conversations. - Excellent negotiation skills with confidence in communication - Ability to coach and develop people managers. - Ability to work collaboratively, working closely with HR Shared Service teams to ensure joined-up delivery.-You will be customer focussed with a drive to deliver exceptional customer service. - Ability to apply judgement to individual cases, make decisions and manage risks - Delivery focused individual with the ability to work in a self-sufficient manner You will have the ability to demonstrate presence and credibility within the organisation and manage key stakeholders. Were seeking a creative `can-do` attitude and readiness to meet new challenges. With the ability to travel and work remotely if required in exceptional circumstances.
