Uk+eu Sales Manager Submarine Power Cables

I am now looking to fill a UK + European Sales Managers position in a well established Submarine power cable manufacturer. The company have a strong focus on the global utilities and offshore wind markets and have offices across Europe, Asia and North America. They require a Sales Manager to focus on UK + European markets to develop Key Accounts and win new business in the power cabling sector for the offshore wind and subsea sectors. The role will report in to the European Sales Director. You can be home based (in any EU country) given there will be up to 50% travel incorporated in the role. You will be targeting the UK and certain European countries. We require someone with the knowledge and expertise in the MV and submarine HV power cabling sector to help drive the business forward. You will need to have a strong understanding of customer requirements, have an established background in a client facing business development role and a detailed view of how the market operates. You will be expected to know all the main Renewable developers and utility companies and have a number of well established contacts in developers and utility companies across Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is looking to take on a hands-on role and steer an established company to new global heights. For this senior role my client will be paying up to £70K + an excellent performance based bonus and of course the career potential is excellent given my clients current and future growth plans. You will need to have at least 3 years experience in the power cable sector dealing with MV and submarine HV cables. You will have a strong background in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering. It will be a huge advantage if you have experience of selling in to utility companies, operators and owners of offshore wind farms.
