UI (User Interface) Developer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a UI DEVELOPER to join our client in Bothell, WA.

Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will be an expert in UI (User Interface) development and have the ability to collaborate with cross-functional group SME's in defining the user experience, design aesthetics and ease of use, as well as technical implementation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The UI developer will also with work with a dedicated IT team to assist in bringing the concepts and design to life through the development of high fidelity wireframes and functional prototypes that can be used for iterations of the functional requirements.
- Lead collaboration sessions on designing the user interface and correct any issues where possible prior anomalies exist.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or related technical field is preferred.
- Four to six (4-6) years of experience in UI Development.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge, excellent problem solving and exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage several complex systems to accomplish undefined tasks on a planned and ad hoc basis.
- Ability to move through design and development on an assigned tasks.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the software development and design life cycle including: analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications.
- Proficient in HTML5, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap (or similar Front End framework), Photoshop/Fireworks and Axure (or similar prototyping tool).
- Basic understanding of programming languages (ColdFusion, C, C++, Java, Javascript, Ruby, Jboss, Perl, VXML, XML, etc.) is preferred.
- Understand operating systems (Linux, Unix, and Windows).
- Understand Web Services design/development and be proficient in application and software testing (Unit, Integration, System, Design and Execution).
