UI/Java Developer

We are looking for a talented UI Developer who is interested in working in one of the most interesting parts of one of the world's largest banks This team is part of a wider international Development group, who are responsible for some of the most significant risk projects in one of the largest banks in the world.

This role is well suited to a proficient developer with 3+ years of applicable experience and a good knowledge of JavaScript and/or Java development. In addition, relational database experience is highly beneficial.

This exciting role, based in our Dublin office, is well suited to strong developers with a keen interest in new technologies and investment banking.

Responsibilities

* Extending the functionality of our portal and modification of existing reports and screens used by Risk Analysts and Risk Officers worldwide
* Participating in daily scrums, backlog grooming meetings, and sprint planning meetings
* Working closely with business partners to understand and implement requirements

As a developer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

* Proficient Javascript (JQuery, Angular, Ext.js etc..)
* Proficient Java (particularly Restful Web Services)
* CSS
* MyBatis
* SQL
* Unit testing experience (eg JUnit)
* Weblogic/Tomcat
* Effective communication, user interaction and problem analysis skills
* Agile/Scrum experience desirable but not essential
