UI Developer is immediate sought by leading global organisation based West London for six month rolling contract.

The Person

Demonstrable experience of coding using the following technologies (UI Engineer):

HTML/HTML5 coding
Responsive Design
Angular.js or Backbone.js
CSS/CSS3
SASS/LESS
JavaScript
GitHub
Basic Linux skills

IT IS DESIRABLE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE OF THE FOLLOWING:

PHP and importantly Zend Framework
Confluence
JIRA
Performance analysis and testing

THE OPPORTUNITY

Leading a culture of positive continuous improvement, your core tasks will include the writing of web pages, assistance with website UX/UI design, involvement in architectural and design decisions, input into estimation and planning meetings as well as provision of expert consultancy to the rest of the development and business teams.
Ideally a proven track record of delivering high quality code in an Agile/Scrum environment using XP or similar techniques
A understanding of Prepay Networks and IT (preferably MVNE/O models)
To be focused on delivering quality of end code and driving continuous improvements in coding with passion.
The ability to travel within the UK.

This role requires the experience and mind-set of a web developer, together with the experience and skill set required to develop using Scrum, test driven development, Extreme Programming and other agile methodologies.

The successful candidate will have several years' experience developing and coding web presentation tiers used in a 3 tier architecture.

They should have a strong background in web coding/design and should have been employed as a web site developer for at least the last 2 years.
