UI Designer

I AM LOOKING FOR A UI DESIGNER PASSIONATE FOR E-COMMERCE AND FASHION BRAND PROJECTS TO JOIN ONE OF MY CLIENTS IN THE HEART OF AMSTERDAM.

As a UI designer you will work closely with the UX designer in the redesign of a responsive web for a big fashion brand here in the Netherlands.

Starting date:

- late July (part time)
- from late August (full time)

Length of the contract: 2-3 months

PROJECT:

- Work in collaboration with the UX designer to produce multiple concepts and prototypes for internal exploration, usability testing, AB testing and customer review
- Responsible for setting and developing web design standards for the E-commerce fashion brand by documenting and advocating design guidelines and interaction principals based on our corporate guidelines
- Provide detailed design documentation
- Maintain the quality of design delivery throughout the development process and across the site.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

- Background in Graphic Design, User Interface/GUI Design, Multimedia Design, Human-Computer Interaction, etc.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position designing
- E-COMMERCE EXPERIENCE
- Well versed in thinking through and designing responsive experiences
- Expert knowledge of Sketch, and/or image optimising applications like Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Strong visual design skills.
- Passionate about good composition.
- Strong visual portfolio (with Ecommerce/fashion projects)
