UI Designer
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Product Manager and the UX designer to create a user friendly and cohesive UI across platforms including multi-platform integration and mobile
- Generate graphic design solutions and develop GUI assets such as screen layouts, widgets, icons, animations, micro sites and other visual entities
- Participate in all phases of product development from concept through development, prototyping and launch
- Ensure quality fit and finish of interface designs, and preserve that high level of quality in the launched product
Skills and Capabilities
- Degree in multimedia design, graphic design or related subject
- A strong and varied online portfolio displaying design processes and execution of concepts across platforms including mobile
- Proven experience in taking a product from initial concept, through information architecture, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and highly polished creative concepts
- Knowledge and experience in conversion rate optimisation and user experience in design
- Expert level knowledge of graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash
- Demonstrable web design skills and expert level knowledge of interaction prototyping tools (XHTML, CSS, HTML 5, Flash, etc.)
