Our client is currently seeking a Senior API & Data Integration Developer to join their IT team in Duluth, Georgia (GA) or from a remote, home office, location. The Senior API & Data Integration Developer will play a key part in creating information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions. Additionally, the Senior API & Data Integration Developer will provide technical project guidance on all IT projects which can encompass multiple systems, functions, locations and countries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintains an understanding of business processes and the application systems/infrastructure that supports them
- Lead the development and design for complex data integration and transformation opportunities for global as well as regional data projects
- Recommend and prepare documentation on best practices, development procedures, reporting, and strategic opportunities
- Design and implement Application Program Interfaces (APIs) on IT projects to make information accessible on future applications, ensuring they meet current best practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years of experience using HTTP representational state transfer (REST)
- 2+ years of experience using Node.js (Javascript) programming

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 1+ years of experience using Apache camel
- 1+ years of experience using Groovy (Java)
