VERY STRONG AND PROVABLE SCRIPTING and SQL SKILLS

Analyzing logs and system messages
Migration of changes to system test and production environments
Ensuring automated monitoring of database health is in place and working as expected
Database design
Very Large Database Environment in UDB
Needs/requirements analysis
Performance troubleshooting and tuning
Database space management
Database creation (DDL)
Capacity planning
Database maintenance
Frequent refreshing of database structure and data to prep test environments
Documentation of key procedures and knowledge for other team members
Archive/purge data
Linux Scripting
UNIX Scripting
Testing in support of database patches and upgrades from vendor
Production system maintenance/support including:
24x7 on-call duties
Responding appropriately to automated alerts
Responding appropriately to requests from other teams
Assisting other team members as needed
Pro-active maintenance to avoid issues later
