UC Consultant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The successful UC Consultant will be responsible for technical delivery and design of complex customer solutions primarily based on Cisco Unified Communications and related Third Party technologies, including current and earlier versions of:
- Unified Communications Manager.
- Unified Communications Manager Express and SRST.
- Unity Connection and Express.
- Cisco UCS and VMware.
- Presence and Jabber/CUCIMOC.
- TelePresence and Tandberg.
- Arc Console
- Microsoft Active Directory.
- The successful candidate will provide leadership in designing integrated technical solutions. As a member of a large team of design and delivery experts you will act as a Technical and Operational Lead on customer projects to plan, design and deploy complex Unified Communications (UC) Solutions and Data Centre Consolidation (UCS) projects.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- In order to implement technical designs you will need to collaborate with Pre-Sales and Post-Sales staff and present Cisco solutions to both customers and internal stakeholders.
- You will also develop and maintain cross technology based solution sets, influencing internally and externally.
- In additional to a strong technical background, you will have proven communication and negotiation skills, including influencing the outcome of discussions on requirements definitions and project success criteria.
- You will hold expert knowledge and experience in Cisco Network and Unified Communication design, implementation and operation functions coupled with sound knowledge of relevant Cisco SRND and design principles.
- Ideally you will hold Baseline clearance and you will be required to obtain Negative Vet 1 clearance.
