We have an immediate requirement for a professional contract Test Engineer
to be based in Central London for an on-going project for one of Dell's key customers.

Responsibitity within the team;
Maintain the testing schedule and escalate to Customer if there are any scheduling issues
Prepare the User Acceptance Test environment and assign a designated business user to participate in testing
Perform user acceptance testing with remote support if necessary and complete Test Completion Report
Investigate any failures - check for failures caused by the UAT environment, false positives from ChangeBASE, issues with earlier assessment/packaging, missing dependencies, software or AD/privilege issues and hardware issues
Resolve any documented software or hardware dependencies
Pass application to appropriate team for remediation or escalate to Customer when necessary
Create empty adverts for software deployment
Upload documentation, Test Completion Report and application package to DSL
Update Applications Tracker and APW job

UAT Engineer Responsibilities:
Prepares the UAT environment
Provides remote support for UAT
Completes Test Completion Report
Investigates UAT failures, including UAT environment issues, false positives from ChangeBASE, issues with earlier assessment/packaging, missing dependencies, software or AD/privilege issues and hardware issues
Resolves any documented software or hardware dependencies

ASD engineer
Creates empty adverts for ASD
Uploads documentation, Test Completion Report and application package to DSL
Updates Applications Tracker and APW job
Resolves simple SCCM issues
Makes applications live in DDT
Support & ad-hoc roles/responsibities within the team environment
Provides support to other processes as and when needed
