TV Business Analyst - Job Description
Job location: Brussels & Herental
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months with extension
Languages: English (fluent), Dutch or French is a plus.
Our client is the leading telecommunications company in Belgium and a market leader in a number of areas, including retail and wholesale fixed-line telephony services, mobile communications services and broadband data and Internet services.
Your role & responsibilities:
We are looking for a high profile engineer, with relevant experience as business analyst in the TV/Media environment using agile methodology. You will be part of the team leading the analysis and deployment of IPTV project.
Your main tasks will be:
Study the Business requirements
translate business requirements into user and/or technical stories
write high-level concept paper(s), describing the overall system requirements
break down the system requirements into manageable subareas (Digital Right Management, Settop Box, Backend, OSS/BSS, ..)
support teams or individuals who are focusing on the analysis and deployment of these subareas
participate to discussions with external partners
lead discussions with internal partners
report to management about progress and problems
contribute to the financial aspects of the project (cost-benefit analysis)
act as overall business analyst support for the project manager
Your Profile:
5-10 years professional experience in TV/Media environment, among which, several years working as business analyst in agile development. IPTV architectureknowledge of Dutch/French is a plus
