Tuxedo Architect

Specialist software systems Middleware architect ideally with the experience of delivering change from Legacy large scale OLTP to more modern and web facing architectures whilst retaining performance and security. Ideally has moved application transactions from Mainframe and large unix to more commodity platforms and is familiar with Tuxedo. Responsibility - Interpret the High level architecture and infrastructure and develop Middleware FMO solution to the transaction developers. - Able to devise proof that changes architected are sympathetic to the Mainframe migration method used so that new transactions can be proven to be resilient performant and secure - Programme scope is only currently "ready to deploy state for the app"- so able to articulate what the real worlds deployment of the FMO issues are that will need to be planned for when new and old versions of this system co-exist together and provide TMO solution for co-existence period with FMO solutions essential.

Experience of large VME IDMS environments would be highly desirable, modernizing large complex Architectures with Legacy transaction processing environments essential. Specific experience of re-architecting Legacy transaction services using Tuxedo tool
