BUSINESS PROJECT MANAGER, ASSET MANAGEMENT, INVESTMENT BANKING, MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS, BUSINESS INTEGRATION, TURKISH
YOU MUST SPEAK FLUENT TURKISH
Working through a consultancy, the purpose of the BUSINESS PROJECT MANAGER is to identify and run the work streams necessary to smooth the integration and operations for one of our clients, a leading investment bank in the middle east, following the acquisition of an asset management organisation.
He/she will drive local delivery of activities within agreed timeframes, working with the Business and Sponsor. The successful candidate must,
- Work independently and have the gravitas and acumen to consult with the business at Senior management level.
- Be self-motivated and driven. He/she will be subject to close monitoring but not supervision.
- Understand the needs of the dual location initiative but quickly be able to determine the impact on their local business/function and communicate those simply.
- Be able to quickly identify any potential issues, communicate those clearly and concisely, and provide options for resolution.
- Be able to cope and bring structure to ambiguous situations and problems.
- Be willing to locate in the middle east for the duration of the project and is willing to travel to other countries in the region.
- Must be able to START WITHIN TWO WEEKS
KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- MUST SPEAK FLUENT TURKISH
- Must have at least 5 years BUSINESS (NOT IT) PROJECT MANAGEMENT skills developed through experience (not qualification alone).
- Experience of working across the full project life cycle from pre-project definition through business case to testing and roll-out to business users.
- Asset Management and/or investment banking is highly desirable
- Consultancy background is highly desirable
- Must have experience in client facing projects and at least 4 years working in financial services.
- Mergers and Acquisitions and business integration is highly desirable
- Clear examples of interpersonal skills and working with senior stakeholders, gaining trust and building capability.
- PRINCE2 or other project management qualification.
