TSM Engineer/Tivoli Storage Manager

*This is a 6 month contract role*

Prestigious Global Financial Institution is currently seek a TSM Engineer for a 6+ month contract role. Candidate will have technical experience in enterprise level storage environments. The position requires the skills to implement and manage a TSM Storage Backup environment. 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 5+ years of working experience in large TSM environment, supporting multiple Servers and clients which includes LAN Free clients and Disaster Recovery Management (DRM)
- Manage the accurate and timely backup/restoration of systems using TSM software
- Review, install, maintain, and administer TSM
- Participate in disaster recovery (DR) preparation and testing for Windows systems
- Perform system administration of Windows operating system
- Resolve complex system problems, fine tune, and troubleshoot TSM environment for optimum operating efficiency
- Monitor the daily backup schedules for failed and missed backups
- Produce daily backup reports for management and create other documentation

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Brocade Switches configuration/maintenance.
- Shell Scripting skills.
- Experience with UNIX (AIX/Linux) and Windows operating systems installation, patching and troubleshooting.
- Disaster Recovery Testing experience
- Experience in implementing hardware encryption on TS1120 drives.
- Data Migration experience from old hardware to new hardware.
