Travel & Expenses Analyst
Six Months Contract
Newport

Scope:

* The role performs the Employee travel expense claim processing function within Clients Finance Shared Services in the UK (Newport)
* This encompasses processing travel expense claims accurately in SAP.

Responsibilities:

Transactions are processed accurately according to the claim detail & procedures defined in the documentation. (eg expense claims policies).

* Correct claim processing in accordance with applicable VAT & other HMRC regulations.
* Provide relevant statistics on a daily basis.
* Employee queries are promptly handled.
* Gain expertise knowledge of the customer business and communicate important client issues with management.

Contributing to:

* Processing of expense claims according to key performance indicators.
* Relationship building with customer employees.
* Identify potential areas for process improvements and make recommendations to team leader.

Tasks:

* Ensure all supporting receipts are attached to the employee claim
* Check the expense claim form for accuracy against valid receipts
* Check valid authorisations
* Flag erroneous claims according to team leader instructions
* Deal with all employee queries
* Processing employee expense claims on a daily basis into SAP accounting system.
* Prepare expenses for scanning and processing foreign VAT reclaim
