Trouble Ticketing and CMDB Architect

Trouble Ticketing and CMDB Architect required being involved with the scoping study for the swap of the current Legacy Trouble Ticketing System/CMDB.

The project life cycle includes requirements gathering, preliminary design of the overall solution and recommendations about the implementation and testing. The suitable candidate will possess a sound knowledge of BMC Remedy and IBM Tivoli/Netcool. BMC Atrium proficiency is not mandatory but nevertheless preferable.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Sound experience obtained within a complex telecoms environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and/or functional areas
- Must have an analytical thought process and a diligent attention to detail
- Ability to provide analysis, design, build, testing, cutover, support and maintenance activities
- Strong decision making skills
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline preferred

REQUIRED TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE IS AS FOLLOWS:

- BMC Remedy suite scoping studies and implementation is a must
- Experience of IBM/Netcool integrations is a strong advantage
- Defining/building end to end architecture solutions for large scale platform projects as well as experience of documenting detailed architectures
- A good understanding of network topologies
- Exposure to operational hardware environments within large scale distributed deployments

Individual must also be proficient with Visio and MS Office tools.
