Trial Operations Manager

Trial Operations Manager wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- University degree with significant life science experience
- 5+ years' experience in clinical research, precisely in executing and monitoring clinical trials
- Solid understanding of all aspects of clinical drug development with emphasis on clinical trial design, trial execution, project management and operations
- Proven ability to collaborate across partner functions in a Matrix environment, without direct reports, but can coordinate the activities of others
- Project management and CRA or CRA management, Clinical Study Managers experience preferred
- Thorough knowledge of the international aspects of drug development processes including international standards (GCP/ICH), health authorities (FDA/EMEA) and national health authorities regulations
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Setting up trials execution plans and agreeing on timeline commitments on behalf of the trial monitoring organisation
- Communicating planned milestones to Trial Monitoring stakeholders and update GCT/ICT/CTTs on operational activities
- Supporting the development of innovative solutions in clinical trial planning and execution, including country, site and patient engagement to ensure the delivery of assigned studies on time as well as the development of reporting methodologies
- Conducting trials and planning prospective management of clinical trials including operational risks for each phase of the trial using available internal and external resources; developing risk management plans
- Approving updates to CCGs as appropriate during trial conduct and performing User Acceptance Testing for EDC system
