Triage Nurse / Nurse Advisor

Precedo Healthcare Services provide Care and Nursing Services to many privately and publicly owned clients throughout Yorkshire.

We are currently seeking 2 full time Triage Nurses / Nurse Advisors to work within one of our community care clients in Sheffield. Using your professional clinical judgement, you will assess the clinical needs of patients referred by their GPs and other Healthcare services to determine the best course of action for them.

You will interact with a variety of patients, families and health professionals on a daily basis to discuss a wide range of medical conditions and symptoms - providing triage, medication and health information, implementing care packages and making referrals to several community care teams.

Hours of work are Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm working from a location in South Sheffield.

Starting salary is £13.72 per hour. Our client is keen to find dedicated and committed staff - Career progression and salary increases will become available quickly for the successful candidates.

Successful applicants will:

·Be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK
·Have at least 6 months of recent post qualification experience, ideally in a triage role
·Be able to provide Occupational Health documents (please contact us for further information)
·Be willing to undertake a DBS Check (previously CRB)
·Hold current RN- Adult registration with the NMC
·Be able to provide satisfactory references
·Ideally have experience with Systmone patient record system, however training can be arranged.

Successful applicants must also be computer literate and have sound communication skills. Confidence, initiative and a calm approach are essential in this role, as is the ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
