Treatment Project Engineer

A global market leader in waste water and water transportation and treatment are urgently seeking a Project Engineer to be based from one of theirMidlandssites. The role has the following key tasks and responsibilities:

- Ensuring that all aspects of projects are designed, procured and installed as per the contract document and specifications on time and to budget.
- To ensure that work carried out complies with all relevant health and safety policies and regulations.
- Liaison with customers on a daily basis to ensure the proper execution of projects.
- Provide engineering input to design activities.
- Review specifications and drawings to ensure that an engineering scope is implemented appropriately.

We are looking for people with the following knowledge and experience:

- A thorough grounding in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and an awareness of current water industry standards.
- Competent in the use of AutoCAB, Word, Excel, MS Project and other relevant IT systems.
- The ability to deal with customers and suppliers in difficult contractual situations.
- A strong knowledge of sewage and or clean water treatment processes, with particular regard to activated sludge plants and treatment plant design.
- Excellent communication skills.
- FullUKdriving licence.
