TREASURY FINANCE CONTROLLER/AUDITOR:SOX: WORLD-LEADING ENERGY OIL HaT controllers, Treasury, Group Pensions, Risk & Insurance and Finance Operations.

Your role will cover Management of, and direct involvement in, the annual Risk Maintain consistent oversight of the HaT Control Framework' Providing ongoing direction, liaison and advice to Finance Operations eg. Risk Fully manage the relationship with FO Glasgow to ensure all testing is completed; Undertake testing activities, including writing test scripts, performing testing and QA, where resource limitations exist or better performed onshore; Keep abreast of legal and regulatory developments identifying any impact on controls and actions; Active participation in the Controls architect network and Controls Community; Manage the departmental Business Continuity Plan.

Onshore financial controls include:

RDS Key (SOX) controls - 100 (approx.)

Key (non-SOX) controls - 160 (approx.)

The position encompasses a wide variety of accountabilities across a large number of different GRA processes and activities requiring flexibility and the ability to learn a multitude of new concepts, processes and tools. Delivery will be stretching while at the same time providing an excellent opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of the HaT, Group Pensions and Risk & Insurance businesses.

You need a Good degree and preferably finance professional accreditation combined with Audit and Controller experience and a strong, proven background in risk and controls. Ideally you will also have knowledge of treasury and pensions processes and Exposure to application and IT controls environments.

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
