Treasury/Ebanking Infrastructure Analyst

For our international end client in The Hague we are looking for a Treasury/eBanking infrastructure analyst

The infrastructure analyst manages the IT service continuity and the interface with the infrastructure organization and the specialised Treasury applications suppliers. This role interrelates with multiple applications and support teams to ensure that infrastructure and Middleware matters do not adversely affect applications operation and execution. The Treasury operations are highly automated and rely on a portfolio of ca 30 IT applications. In 2010, Treasury IT has initiated a large programme to deliver the IT projects required to renew the portfolio of applications and equip the Treasury function in their need to face the fast changing financial environment that the world economy has been experiencing since 2008. This position offers professional development opportunities in the technical IT, IT security and IT architecture areas.

The infrastructure landscape comprises of ca 40 Servers and dedicated VLAN, in a bespoke secure cell

The technologies used are Wintel based and are heavily reliant on the Citrix technologies. Specific high availability design is used throughout the environment to ensure infrastructure failures do not impact business continuity.

The infrastructure has high availability and high integrity requirements, as errors or delays in dealings and payments can incur real charges measured in USD millions

Manage and develop Treasury Business Critical Citrix Landscape
- To contribute to the IT service continuity of the Treasury IT applications portfolio, in particular the design, planning and coordination of the execution of the Disaster Recovery Plan
- To contribute to the Business Continuity Plan in Treasury IT
- To contribute to Treasury IT data management, including the backups and restore testing, the resolution of backup incidents and the design and maintenance of a system of backups providing a full coverage of critical data to the business
- To administer the promotion of changes to production (both infrastructure & application)
- To maintain the infrastructure configuration data
- To set up and operate a robust capacity management process
- To coordinate the activities related to the specific physical environment of Treasury
- To own the Treasury/E-banking IT infrastructure landscape and coordinate the management & maintenance
- To review all infrastructure changes, and to manage all infrastructure changes
- To implement proactive monitoring of the availability of the Treasury/E-banking IT applications
- To follow-up performance monitoring events, and participate in performance improvement projects
- To ensure that knowledge is shared with team members to provide appropriate levels of support coverage
