TREASURY AND LIQUIDITY RISK PROCESS ANALYST - CONTRACT - 6 MONTHS

My client a leading global operator of financial markets and provider of innovative trading technologies is looking for a Treasury and Liquidity Risk Process Analyst for an interim 6 month contract based in Central London. The purpose of this role is to analyse and further define the processes and business requirements required by the CCP in order to model, calculate and monitor liquidity requirements and ensure that the treasury investment portfolio and other sources of funding will meet the liquidity requirements. Calculated liquidity and cash flow requirements and the profile of the treasury investment profile must meet the CCPs liquidity needs under normal and stressed market conditions. In addition liquidity requirements must be calculated for default and non default scenarios.

This role will also be responsible for identifying any areas in which current policies and documented high level requirements and processes may be enhanced to reflect best market practice:

- To present to the business any areas of enhancement to the policies or business processes;
- To refine and document the business requirements, ensuring that these are in line with current policies and agreed scope, identifying any high priority differences;
- To assist the system providers understand the business requirements;
- To refine and document the business processes and procedures;
- To ensure the business requirements and processes support the objectives of the CCP policy;
- To ensure that any relevant methodologies are documented to a high standard;
- To identify relevant data sources to support the business requirements and processes;
- To assist in the production and review of test cases.

EXPERIENCE:

- At least 5 years experience in process modelling and requirements and methodologies documentation.
- Demonstrable experience of large system and process implementations.
- Detailed understanding and experience of implementing liquidity modelling and calculation methodologies.
- Detailed understanding and experience of practical considerations in physical money transfer and pinch points that may arise in those processes and market behaviours or practices that may affect the ability of the CCP to meet the calculated liquidity requirements.
- 5 years risk experience either in a CCP or major financial institution in running liquidity calculations and ensuring that the relevant portfolios and other sources of funding are available to match those calculated requirements.
