Treasury Accountant (SAP Implementation) - West London - £420 per day

We are looking for an experienced Treasury Accountant to join and help drive and ERP delivery, bringing ERP knowledge around treasury accounting processes and treasury skills. This role focuses on treasury and cash management strategies, treasury transformations, treasury accounting and treasury technology solution delivery.

To be specific (at high-level):

- Provide input intol cash management, treasury and transaction management and then provide treasury accounting know-how to the issues; and

Other responsibilities also include:

Account and report for various treasury companies on a monthly basis using Treasury Management System (IT2), Sun ledger and Unison consolidation system;

Production of monthly management accounts treasury companies based on Unison submissions;

Resolution of inter-company differences on lending and hedging;

Management of all inter-company accounting aspects, including interest and withholding tax applications to respective currencies and jurisdictions;

Point of contact for group regarding inter-company lending and borrowing reconciliation with treasury;

Point of contact at Group level for Unison reporting issues;

Provide support and day to day guidance to the treasury accounting virtual team at Genpact in India where necessary; and

Ad-hoc support to Managers (2) and Finance Director on projects.

Minimum requirements:

- Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent Chartered Accountant qualification with post qualification experience 3-5+ - essential;
- Familiar with banking structures (sweeps, pools etc) and their respective accounting applications
- Recent treasury accounting knowledge and experience a must, with knowledge of IAS 39/IFRS 7, 9 and 13;
- Large corporate/PLC experience essential;
- Logical and methodical mindset: Ability to document in comprehensive detail testing scenarios and results achieved whilst escalating issues and tracking issues and ensuring resolution on day-to-day issues;
- Experience in developing systems requirements, designing, extensive user acceptance testing, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under inter-dependent project deadlines a must;

This is a 6 month contract offering a daily rate up to £420 per day. The location is West London near to Heathrow
