Transportation Analyst III Job

TRANSPORTATION ANALYST II needed for a CONTRACT HIRE opportunity with Yoh's client located in LONG BEACH, CA

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provides support for the development of the statement of work to secure cost-effective transportation services.
- Analyzes carrier performance data for cycle time, costs and business process review.
- Participates on enterprise wide and cross-functional teams defining export control programs.
- Interfaces with internal/external compliance organizations and responds to Customs and Border
- Protection inquiries for export control issues to ensure compliance with export regulations, federal regulations, Foreign Trade Regulations
- Certifies the shipment of dangerous goods.
- Investigates loss and damage claims to carriers.
- Designs transportation plans and solutions. Provides program managers with the development of transportation plans.
- Identifies requirements and business rules for third party freight audit and payment provider to ensure compliance.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Products

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's Degree
- 6 (six) or more years related experience
