Transport Planner

My Public sector client requires a Travel Coordinator to work across the business to define our clients travel business model and policies, particularly in relation to their office locations in Bristol. This will include the use of pool cars, electric bikes, car sharing and cycle to work. You will be monitoring the operation of their pilot pool car scheme, and develop options and plans to transition to business as usual. This will include both fleet management and scheme operation.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

- Review proposals for an electric bike scheme, primarily for travel between our clients offices within the city centre, and make recommendations, enabling an informed decision to be made.
- Review the Travel Plan and define options for changes to the existing model, particularly in relation to the changes to working locations being made through their current projects.
- Develop plans for and coordinate delivery of change to the travel business model across the business, including building-specific travel plans
- Giving advice and guidance on the practical application of aspects of workplace travel and helping managers and teams address potential travel challenges

KEY ATTRIBUTES

The successful candidate will have particular strength in the following areas:

- Experience in working with SME's to design and implement travel business models and plans, including integration of sustainable methods of transport
- Experience in running pilots and transitioning to business as usual
- Experience in business process redesign to implement new transport/travel solutions
- Experience working with 3rd party vendors/suppliers
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Good experience in project managing and governance, including understanding of business change
- Good commercial awareness
