Fantastic Opportunity for an experienced Transport Manager to join one of the world's leading Media and Broadcast giants. The role is based in West London and is looking to pay market rates

One of the UK's leading pay-TV providers is looking for a Transport Manager to join their team that uses cutting edge technology to provide applications that put our client first for online content, customer service and sales.

ROLE:

This role is to lead and influence our client's colleagues to adopt more sustainable means to travel to & from work.

This is to be achieved through:

- the development & implementation of policies including
- parking
- car-sharing
- cyclist lockers
- shuttle buses
- abandoned bikes
- electric vehicle charging bays
- car rental, etc.
- the monitoring of policies and the response to changes introduced including parking penalties, site access, shift worker permits, etc.
- strong communication to ensure awareness of travel options including development and ongoing management of technological solutions including the Transport Web Site, Shuttle Bus App, Park Me App, Car Sharing site, etc.
- prioritising capex spend to encourage more sustainable travel and managing annual budgets
- monitoring & reporting against travel targets
- ensure our client's legal requirements re sustainable travel are achieved

SUITABLE CANDIDATES WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- Has great communication and inter-personal skills to manage challenges to parking bans, working with Forum, etc.
- Assist in getting us ready for the opening of the multi-deck car-park in June/July
- Is able to move quickly with a sense of urgency and will fit in with our client
- Managing sustainable travel for a large corporate, preferably one that operates 24/7
- Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation and creative skills, across all levels
- Great customer service attitude - get what it means to ensure we deliver the right things at the right time in the best possible way.
- Flexibility to get it done.
- Commercial and negotiation skills
- Good time management and ability to manage priorities
- Demonstrates good team work and ability to influence and lead
- Ability to deliver on projects within challenging time-frames
- IT systems such Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
- Awareness of health & safety and compliance requirements within PFM
