IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Inbound transportation project completion including implementation of carrier changes in the network
-EDO Central Eastern Europe & German RDC implementation & 3PL partner management
-Secure transportation optimization in inbound flows with CBMS (Computer-based Medical Systems)
-Business performance management with plants and carriers
-Support deployment and maintenance of the global transportation strategic approach in collaboration with local and global stakeholders to establish reliable, compliant and cost effective concepts and processes for the transportation of medicinal products from plants to warehouses and customers focusing on sea freight for overseas markets
-Act as key point of contact towards key manufacturing units (internal plants and external supply), key transport service providers, QA GDP global team, global distribution coordination teams and procurement
-Organise and manage regular business performance reviews on key performance indicators with strategic transport service providers (global and regional)
-Manage regular communication and reporting on key transportation metrics on agreed geographic scope
-Support data analytics initiatives and consolidation of all logistics data to bring transparency on the performance, costs, carbon footprint and service level to report and to identify improvement opportunities
-Support QA teams with regard to deviations management, corrective and preventive actions, change requests and other QA investigations
-International travel expected to be more than 20 days a year

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Profound experience in Supply Chain Management, including distribution, transportation and channel management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or fast moving consumer goods industries
-In-depth comprehension of the different Supply Chain Management techniques and distribution models and systems
-Experience in transport management and regulations
-Grasp and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry from a business and regulatory perspective (e.g. good distribution practice guidelines)
-Knowledge of and experience in the European third-party logistics market
-Written and oral fluency in English, German of advantage
