Transmission Planning Engineer - SDH, 2G, 3G, LTE, Microwave
We have an exciting opportunity with one of our large clients who is one of the leaders in the telecoms market. They urgently require a highly experienced Transmission Planner with experience in the Access Network. This role is a French speaking position
Responsibilities:
*Plan and Design access transmission networks including 2G, 3G and LTE.
*Using the cramer tool for planning and documentation
*Capacity management and routing of capacity for mobile networks including TDM, ATM and Ethernet capacity to BSCs and RNCs.
*Understanding of network synchronisation for access networks
*Understanding of network design for access networks including microwave and fibre topology
Experience and qualifications:
*Strong knowledge of SDH, 2G, 3G, and LTE.
*Experience using planning tools such as IQ Link
*Strong Transmission Planning background.
*French speaking is essential
