Transmission Planner

Core responsibility

To design TX fibre infrastructure and systems consistent with Clients TX policies and procedures
Provide TX support to worldwide rollout and to ensure that TX Service Level Agreements in are consistently met
To ensure that the quality of TX service as defined and communicated across the Group is continuously reviewed.

Functions

Develop the TX Budgets consistent with the Business Plans for the rolling out of networks across the markets
Design the TX infrastructure to support the overall Network Roll Out Plan for the markets
Identify and deploy suitable TX Systems to support the stated business objectives
Manage tender process for all TX equipment

Academic qualifications and experience required for job:
Minimum qualification of a Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Five (5) years experience in managing rollout of telecommunications fibre networks
Ability to perform multiple tasks.
Formal training in Cellular Operations would clearly be an asset.
