Job title: Transmission Network Architect/Principal Consultant
Location: Based in Netherland. Work in Limburg.
Start date:ASAP, Will need to stay working for this customer for long period, at least 1 year.
Job description:Responsible to building leading and coordinating the development of services within the transmission domain of our customer.
As Lead Architect for our program with Operator 'X' you will engage with our client's CTO and Network Planning departments, help them translate their business and technical requirements into network architecture solutions and designs, will be the Liaison Officer between the client and the organizations (local and headquarters) and will ensure that the network requirements and the solution and product capabilities are well aligned.
Acquiring deep knowledge of the transmission network architecture of the customer and using this knowledge to advise customer and project teams towards development of projects to improve the transmission network.
Be the trusted advisor of the customer with regards the transport network.
Be the technical leader for the project teams.
Language requirements:English mandatory and Dutch strongly preferred
Travel requirements:Travel in Netherlands
80% of time on site with customer (south of Netherlands)

*Architecture and design knowledge and experience in transmission networks. FTTX, DWDM, SDH, ATN, PTN
*Knowledge of Huawei transmission equipment strongly preferred, like DWDM MSTP SDH PTN: [OSN1800/8800, OSN1500/2500/3500/7500,PTN1900/3900]
*Be familiar with network evolution road map
*Knowledge or radio access and core-transmission networks.
*Knowledge of micro-wave.
*Basic knowledge of IP
*E2E understanding of fixed broadband network
*Knowledge of OSS systems
*At least 8 years of experience within network operators or international leading vendors.
*At least 2 recent references with leading European operators in the area of transmission networks
