Transmission- Net-X Routing Planner

On behalf of our client, an interesting international Telecom company, we are currently looking for a Net-X Planner. This role is a full time contract position (3-6 months) based in Zurich and a suitable candidate is supposed to start as soon as possible. TASKS:

The Net-X Planner is responsible to provide routing path from Node-B to the first access point to the BackBone. The Net-X Planner reports to the Transmission Project Manager and will interface to other Routing planners and Transmission Planners.

The main tasks and responsibilities are:

- Responsible for routing using Net-X tool.
- Monitoring, Planning network capacity
- Updating Network documentation
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Ensuring that all agreed process and procedures are followed

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor of Engineering/Electronics or equivalent (Telecommunications)
- Excellent knowledge and experience - Transport Network, eg Access network planning
- Good experience with Net-X tool
- Basic knowledge of NSN/HUAWEI/NEC microwave equipments
- In depth knowledge of microwave link planning and design
- Fluent oral and written English skills, German is an asset
