Transmission Manager (TDM, ATM, Ethernet, IP)

TRANSMISSION MANAGER (TDM, ATM, ETHERNET, IP) required for a long-term contract for a major mobile telecommunications client in Ireland.

The Transmission Manager will have the overall responsibility and accountability for all the company's Transmission Engineering, consisting of;

- Management of Transmission team to supply be in class services to clients
- Network planning to support rollout for TCM and IP backhaul
- Network provisioning and monitoring
- Support network build and operation

The Transmission Manager ( TDM, ATM, Ethernet, IP ) will need to;

- Manage the Transmission Planners to deliver client rollout
- Plan, build and programme management for delivery of projects
- Have a clear understanding of mobile networks
- Provide input to technical planning solutions across TDM, ATM, Ethernet Layer 2 and Layer 3
- Build Strategy for network rollout

Transmission Manager (TDM, ATM, Ethernet, IP) required skill set and experience;

- 4 + years in a team lead or management role
- 6 + years in Mobile Telecommunication industry
- 6 + years use of Transmission technology (TDM, ATM, Ethernet, IP)
- Ability and proven track record of managing technical teams
- Educated to Degree level (BSc/MSc)
- Strong motivational and leadership skills
- Knowledge of other areas of Mobile Telecoms (RAN etc)
