Translation Technologist

Translation Technologist wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Degree in translation studies, languages or equivalent
- Strong understanding of technology and IT along with highly-developed computer skills
(MS Office, Windows) and computer aided translation tools - Working experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders, preferably in the translation and localization industry
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Pre- and post-processing of requests, typically in MS Office format for processing with translation technologies
- Finding creative and flexible solutions as well as giving advice based on client needs and the capabilities of the translation technologies
- Acting as a crossing point between clients, external translation provider, internal translator, Services Project Manager and IT department to find solutions that suit client and translator
- Maintaining the translation memory as well as the alignment of parallel texts
