TRANSITION & TRANSFORMATION PROJECT MANAGER/13 MONTHS/BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

Transition & Transformation Director - urgently required for one of my client's.

As a Senior Transitiondeveloping alternative procedures and decisions on the basis of logical assumptions.
- Defining measurable milestones, quality gates and deliverables to ensure acceptance by customer.
- Ensuring the project results meet the quality levels as agreed in the contracts.
- Setting-up ongoing communication and reporting according to communication plan.
- Managing projects basing on FTS project management methods, eg, Prince2, Six Sigma and ITIL.
- Handover projects from transition & transformation to steady state operations.
- Building and maintaining relationship with the Local and Regional Service Delivery community to align the strategy for on-going service delivery.
- Implementing and establishing SLA's within the framework of the contract.

Tech & Func Skills

- Budget Management. Manages the agreed programme's budget, ensuring that financial impact due to programme activities is clearly visible
- Scope & Change Control. Leads the establishment of the change control processes for each project against agreed baseline plans and ensures it is maintained. Acts as an influencing partner at top executive level in agreeing a programme's scope that balances the client's interests and customer's requirements
- Reporting. Monitors the overall progress of the programme, ensuring that clear and concise status reports are available to the steering board and that issues are escalated properly
- Team Management. Assembles, organizes and leads successfully a multi-talented team, including project managers capable of achieving the programme's objectives
- Stakeholder Management. Leads the communication to all stakeholders. Includes stakeholders in programme's definition and ongoing decisions to ensure that expectations and programme deliverables are aligned
- Issue and Risk Management. Manages the risks to the programme's successful outcome, ensuring that an effective risk assessment and risk mitigation plan(s) is/are in place for each project in the programme and paying particular attention to the inter-dependencies between projects. Proactively manages potential personnel and business issues
- Meeting Customer Expectations. Ensures that the quality of programme's results is as agreed in the programme plan. Agrees the technical and quality strategy with appropriate members of the steering board and ensures that regular quality reviews are established
