Transition Programme/Project Manager- Contract - IT - Telecommunications My client a leading IT Network integrator requires an experienced Transition Programme/Project Manager for an initial 9 to 12 month contract. The position will be based in the South East and will involve leading the transition of multiple IT and communication managed services from existing service providers to the new provider. Responsibilities: Lead multi disciplinary teams in delivery of programme objectives Take project work streams from initiation to customer acceptance. Produce Project Plans and Budgets from initial project briefs. Present initial plans and budgets for approval to senior management. Negotiating and organising internal and external resources for project deliverables. Producing and presenting progress reports to customers and senior management. Produce and maintain supporting project documentation. Ensuring successful handover from implementation to support phase. Skills: Public Sector, preferably Local Authority, experience. Experienced Programme/Project Manager with Prince2 qualification. Proven track record of complex project delivery. Technical experience in IT or Telecomms industries. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to present at senior level. Experience of managing 3rd party contractors. Experience of leading and motivating delivery teams. Very thorough and organised person. Experience working with BT/Openreach. Ideally candidates that live near Surrey would be a bonus but this will not be a prerequisite Start date ASAP - Market day Rate
