SOUTH DUBLIN, CONTRACT

TRANSITION MANAGER ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our Client, a leading financial services institution, requires a highly motivated and driven Transition Manager for a contract position in South Dublin.

You will be responsible for managing the transition of application support, development and maintenance services from the current operating model to a future state managed services operating model.

You will developing service transition plans, ensuring deliverables and milestones are met
Transition of knowledge from the incumbent teams
People Transition
Managing the transition from the current model to the future state operating model
Participate in all Governance reviews with the customer - daily, weekly and monthly
Ensure structured internal reviews to track project progress.
Publish weekly transition dashboard incorporating all Transition streams to the stakeholders.
Interface with 3rd party suppliers, for planning timelines and to ensure quality of deliverables.
Ensure strict commercial change control to manage deviations.
Ensure Transition are within time and budget constraints and meet the required level of quality
Escalate major Transition issues to Management with recommendations on how to address.
Ensure smooth handover to the delivery team at the end of the transition.

TRANSITION MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:
Experience of Services Takeover from client incumbent suppliers or client in-house teams
Experience managing large outsourcing Service Transitions in a multi-vendor environment with outcome based SLA based service
Delivering Service Transition Projects and Programmes in line with recognised best practice methodology to meet Operational requirements for systems in scope for global services
Experience of Transition Lifecycle Management
Strong Stakeholder management at all levels
Ability to work effectively in diverse, multi-cultural environments at Global Level.
Demonstrated success of working effectively under short timeframes and significant pressure
Strong knowledge of IT service management processes and methodologies eg ITIL

DESIRABLE:
Familiarity with Irish/European banking methods.
A familiarity with managing transition from incumbent staff and challenges associated with rebadging, Industrial Relations, sourcing & transferring the knowledge & balancing onshore to offshore ratio's
Complex bundled IO or AO experience

DAILY RATE:
Flexible
