Transition Manager (A3)

The scope of work for this assignment will be a review of the support issues and services that will face in the preparation for the deployment of a new business application system, the immediate support services required to be in place to ensure operational robustness and stability and the longer term issues that need to be addressed and the support model that needs to be put in place.

The successful consultant will be required to undertake the following tasks.

Development of Service Catalogue that defines the services that need to be provided by the Business System ICT service providers.

Development of a PreTransition Strategy that will guide the Project in preparing for the deployment of the business system and the operational support measures that need to be in place for the immediate support period.

Development of a Post Transition Transition Strategy that will guide the organisation in developing the Support Model and putting in place the necessary support processes, infrastructure and resources

In undertaking these tasks the successful tenderer will consider:

- Key SAP infrastructure, other system business systems and software infrastructure issues and emerging issues that have the potential to impose a risk to effective operational support of the RISTEC business system;
- The specialist SAP services that are needed to support ongoing operational processes;
- The specialist SAP services required to ensure that the SAP software infrastructure is at an appropriate level of product release and support level so that licenced SAP provided software support is not compromised within a timeframe of 12-18 months
