Transition Consultant - Xplan Implementation

My North Shore based financial Services client is seeking a Transition Consultant to assist in the migration, implementation & Transition from an existing non-web based Advisory product to XPLAN Financial Planning software.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The current technology Adviser toolset, Adviser Central, is a decentralised, non-web based solution that does not have the capability to support my clients Adviser needs or drive the growth our business demands in their advice network.

Project is primarily replacing the current adviser planning tool, Adviser Central with a centralised, web based tool XPLAN, embracing software as a service SaaS and ensuring a more streamlined and scalable outcome.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- LIAISE DIRECTLY WITH PRACTICE CHAMPION TO PREPARE FOR CONVERSION (EG DATA CLEANSING AND MAPPING ACTIVITIES)
- BE THE POINT OF CONTACT WITH DATA EXTRACTION TEAM TO ENSURE THAT DATA IS PROVIDED SUCCESSFULLY TO THE SOFTWARE VENDOR AND IS READY FOR CONVERSION
- WORK THROUGH POST CONVERSION DATA CHECKING WITH PRACTICE TRANSITION CHAMPION

Expected Skills:

- Previous experience with XPLAN Financial Planning tools
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
- 2 - 3 years experience in performing transition of users to new systems/platforms
- Previous experience working on large scale projects.
- Outstanding documentation skills
