BACKGROUND
Our client is planning to move development and operations from the current setup in different departments to a more consolidated delivery model, bringing all delivery resources into one team. The related functional international solution is a complex one with heavy dependency on IT infrastructure and in case of disturbances giving high impact on our business operation. We aim to have a more efficient closely collaborating team of professionals minimizing any incidents as the result of frequent changes and projects.

Job summary

In your role as Transition Manager you will lead the journey going from de-central to central, from classic delivery setup to a more DevOps oriented setup supporting an agile way of working while still having a strong focus on control and quality.
You will help to make the as-is and to-be situation clear and build the plan from moving from one to the other. The scope for the transition will be organizational, technical as well as process and governance.
Your challenge will be to make this new way of working fit well within current processes and organization.

YOUR PROFILE

- Experience of successful delivery of change programs
- Experience in working in a multinational with stakeholder management at senior level
- Ability to influence, negotiate and constructively challenge to achieve productive solutions
- Experience with call center processes and IT infrastructure environments
- People management and motivational skills
- Responsible and result driven attitude
- Project Management qualification
- Financial analysis skills
- Knowledgeable in ITIL
- Presentation skills and communicative in business English

KEY DELIVERABLES

- Project planning according to VPPM (project management method)
- To develop key work streams of the transition program in close liaison with the main stakeholders focusing on:
- Create an agreed organizational setup and facilitate for having it approved in all needed forums.
- Establish a competence Matrix for the as-is and to-be situation and establish the recruitment plan.
- Financial planning in terms of establishing needed budget for project and run.
- Establish a first version of a target application architecture and roadmap.
- Communication
- Risk assessment
- Establish processes and governance that is well integrated with the steering of IT as well as fit for purpose.
