Transition and Training Project Manager

MAIN FOCUS:

Overall coordination of Transition and Training activities in order to full fill the contractual requirements from our clients contract.

Ensure the execution of all activities in the agencies Police, Fire and Health which are necessary to transform from the existing situation towards the entire new after implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop/update/maintain a master transition plan for each of the three agencies
- Follow up the transition from the first contact with the local control room up towards Go-live.
- Implement, maintain and/or update training procedures and guidelines (for Technical and Super User trainings and Control Room Transition activities) Inquire, plan and update Training needs of the 3 Agencies.
- Ensure and coordinate required updates in Technical Product Training by the Strategic Partners in line with product development and/or Customer needs
- Ensure that all involved parties understand, contribute and follow the transitional process
- Instruct/liaise/manage the Project Organisation of the Agency to ensure that the completion phase activities are met according to the Master as well as agency specific plan.
- Assist in the Master plan's updating by creating and follow up the detailed agency transition plan
- Coordinate the agency transitional requirements with the control room rollout coordinator as well as the PM's of the other agencies.
- Preparing, planning and monitoring the project or subproject according to contractual scope and commitment against project budget
- Analyse the general rollout plan and introduce enhancements in project execution
- Ensure that all project targets are met.
- Ensure that reporting is set up and meets project governance model.
- Ensure all required transition related documentation is prepared in time and according to the contractual agreements.
- Routine communications with Customer in implementation progress and forecasts.
- Follow up and escalation of action points based on customer meetings.

Experience:

- Evidence of relevant project experience
- Operational experience in either IT or Telco Operator environments
- Experience of managing technical teams across multiple geographies is preferred
- Background in Mobile Solutions, preferable TETRA
- Experience of customer specific solution architecture
- Experience in one or more agencies is preferred
