Transformation Manager

My client is leading telecommunications provider based in Sydney CBD Precinct. Due to expansion they are seeking an experienced Transformation Manager for a 6 month contract position likely to extend further.

You will take a lead role in the design and delivery of the Transformation program management and monitoring arrangements to be applied to the Program. You will develop a program plan and manage the planning processes for the program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and implement main Program Management Office for the delivery of the Transformation Program, in line with the delivery strategy.
- Lead the evaluation of work stream projects to assess the change impact and benefits.
- Initiate Documentation and Project plans ensuring that the operation of the Program is comprehensive and all plans are aligned to the recommendations of the business stakeholders.
- Lead the development and maintenance of the Program Plan, highlighting interdependencies and major gateways as appropriate
- Lead the monitoring framework, making best use of available technology, to ensure timely and accurate reporting from each work stream/project, and track progress towards outcomes against the overall Program Plan
- Lead the development and maintenance of Program level RAID process and logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies).
- Develop and execute a Transformation Program Assurance plan in order to provide independent appraisal of the adequacy and effectiveness of transformation execution.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- Proven track record in a TRANSFORMATION MANAGEMENT ROLE WITHIN A TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY IS ESSENTIAL.
- Project or Program Management Accreditation
- Experience in Operations environment
- ITIL or equivalent standard certification
- Understanding of operational support systems requirements, integration and industry platforms.
