Transformation Leader (Brussels)

Je functie: Context
In the IT Engineering department, the SOA Setup project aims to document a reference architecture and implement it through processes, methods, tools and trainings. The project also aims to define and setup the governance, policies, procedures and work instructions that will ultimately become the working frame of the to be created IT-Engineering SOA Competence Center as being the promoting and supporting team of the SOA architectural pattern within the bank. The SOA Competence Center will interact with IT architects, IT analysts, testers, developers and application support teams all along the different steps of the 'SOA' software lifecycle process. To be a success, this new architectural approach (and supporting tools and processes) needs to be well understood and adopted by the different IT involved actors (at least until the 'late majority' group (theory of technology diffusion)).

Function Description
As Transformation Leader, your main responsibilities and tasks will be to :
- Governance : - define and implement the governance, policies, procedures and work instructions that will ultimately become the working frame of the to be created IT-Engineering SOA Competence Center. Your goal is to setup an efficient SOA CC that will be able to sustainably evolve in the future with its environment. You will report the status on a weekly basis to the SOA Project Steering board. You will run the governance during the setup and early days of the CC.
- Training : - create a set of documentation and training material for the different IT stakeholders as well as to coach and accompany them interactively all along their learning curve until adoption. This will happen through a mix of different approaches : technical hands-on labs, seminars, info-sessions, documents, intranet corner, e-community,… You will be in charge of defining an evangelization strategy as well as implementing , monitoring and executing it (with support when needed). You will report the status on a weekly basis to the SOA Project Steering board.

Master in IT or equivalent by experience in IT Application Development.

Experience
At least 5 years in people and process management with relevant and proven fresh experience in the setup of a SOA CC in a comparable environment.

Technical Experience
Mandatory
- Office and other productivity tools
- Practical knowledge/understanding of SOA concepts, related processes and methodologies, trends and technologies (eg : XML, JCA, JMS, SOAP, WSDL, …).
- Thorough knowledge of modern development methods (Waterfall, Agile,… in large companies) and techniques
- Experience with IT systems and operations

Business Experience
Mandatory
- Able to interact with varied profiles and functions as to extract the essence of their working reality and stimulate their interest until adoption.
- Able to ensure a good working relationship is established with all necessary support organizations and the senior management of the IT department
- Able to define a clear, efficient and practical governance implementation strategy as well as to monitor its progress all along the setup process.
- Able to define efficient evangelization strategy as well as to monitor its progress (innovators, early adopters, early majority, late majority and laggards).
- Recent successful proven experience(s) in similar/comparable scope
