Transaction Risk Manager

My client, a leading Banking Group is looking for a Transaction Risk Manager to assist with the governance and Risk Management of global transactions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the Global Transaction Risk Management tools and controls are adhered to throughout the life cycle of the transactions, as well as to monitor the KRI's effectively and consistently. The role will require the candidate to perform risk assessments of the transactions and continually reassess the risk and control status. They will be required to escalate the risks and issues whilst working with the Transaction work streams to provide guidance with risk identification and assessment .

In order to be considered for this role, candidates must possess Operational Risk experience to ensure the appropriate and timely identification and assessment of risks. Experience in market, credit and strategic risk is also appropriate. A key part of the role is the observation of Internal Controls as the role requires the identification, implementation and monitoring of key controls mitigating transaction risk. The winning candidate must also be highly personable and a strong communicator as developing strong relationships with other core member of the team and other stakeholders is essential.
