Here at JPMorgan, we are looking for individuals to join our Asset Servicing department within the Investment Operations and Hedge Fund Services Team as Transaction Processing Administrators.

BUSINESS OVERVIEW: GLOBAL ASSET SERVICING

The Global Asset Servicing Utility provides centralized asset servicing solutions for multiple products, businesses and client segments across the wholesale bank. Key services include the proactive management of Corporate Actions, Income, Taxation, Proxy Voting and Client Enquiries/Reporting.

Working with hubs in Asia Pacific and the Americas, the Global Asset Servicing Team in Bournemouth is a dynamic environment, providing a bench mark product to all CIB clients.

ASSET SERVICING, INVESTMENT OPERATIONS SERVICES (IOS) AND HEDGE FUND SERVICES (HFS), MIDDLE OFFICE TEAM

The Asset Servicing, IOS/HFS, Middle Office team is responsible for servicing and supporting of specific IOS and HFS client relationships in relation to the administration of their portfolios for corporate actions.

On a daily basis, the team validate the processing undertaken by the Back Office throughout the life cycle of the event, provide assistance and guidance on client and third party queries, ensure that the core systems reflect the third party custodian and Prime Brokerage holdings as well as restricting/releasing assets, based on stock availability from a corporate action event.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: ASSET SERVICING MIDDLE OFFICE TEAM

- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of daily deliverables as required
- Process in core custody/Accounting Systems
- Maintain accurate processing on client records
- Maintain high level of professionalism with both internal and external clients
- Good problem solving skills/lateral thinker

KEY SKILLS:

- You will be able to give examples of your self management achievements.
- Demonstrated experience of risk awareness
- Proven experience of relationship management communicating complex issues with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience of working with financial data accurately within given time frames and multiple deadlines.
- You will be able to give examples of experiences utilizing technology for improving processes for the benefit of the business..
- Proven experience of learning new techniques, processes and systems against deadlines
- You will be able to give comprehensive examples of your internal and external client relationship and networking experiences.

- You will be able to demonstrate your time management and planning skills.
- You will be able to give examples of your pro-active team relationship skills and experiences.

DESIRABLES:

- Corporate Actions/Investment Services experience preferred.
- You will have a degree in Finance/Business/Accountancy or the equivalent working experience
- Experience dealing with high volume complex processing.
- IOC or other industry related qualifications.

HOURS:

- Standard 9-5 though shall be expected to complete overtime when the department is busy.

LOCATION:

- Chaseside Campus, Bournemouth

On offer is an initial 6 month role paying a highly competitive hourly rate.
