POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We have an outstanding contract opportunity for a Training Specialist to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. In the role of Training Specialist, you will play an integral role in helping our client deliver market leading services that set it apart from its competitors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Establish and deploy robust risk and control frameworks which meet the strategic needs of the Group, including communication, training and awareness of these frameworks.
- Provide expert support and advice to the business on the management of the risks which are overseen or controlled. This includes interpreting and complying with the relevant risk policy standards and risk management framework.
- Conduct suitable assurance to ensure 1st line compliance with policies/responsibilities.
- To be accountable for ensuring you understand, uphold and promote the Conduct Risk standard pillars: Employee Conduct, Corporate Conduct, Market Conduct, and Conduct Towards our Customers.
- Provide an education & training programme and a technical communications strategy to improve awareness of and adherence to Operational Risk policies, standards and processes across the division

CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- Solid understanding of banking and its operations
- Experience of operating across international boundaries
- Good understanding of Operational Risk frameworks and there implications (financial, capital)
- Experience in the design and delivery of technical education and awareness around Operational Risk frameworks, tools and processes
- Production of executive level reports, presentations and communications
- Excellent experience developing and delivering tailored training programmes to large stakeholder groups, covering various approaches and media.
- Advanced use of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and training tools/channels
