Training Specialist

- Initial 6 month contract
- Large Government agency
- Sydney CBD location

An exciting and challenging opportunity exists for an experienced Training Specialist to ensure each training module deliverable meets the agreed specification within the overall framework for ensuring successful integration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and deliver structured training programs to client agency subject matters experts, trainers, users and other stakeholders.
- Build and implement eLearning programs for a state-wide Software Application using Captivate and other E-learning development tools.
- Develop web based training for a large number of business processes, to accommodate end-user needs and existing operating environments.
- Partner with training managers and staff in client agencies team members to review/update the design of training programs.
- Develop new training modules and update existing ones to reflect new processes, features and functionality.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Tertiary qualifications in Training & Development or Organizational Design/Development.
- Demonstrated experience of planning course structure and content to achieve operational objectives.
- Demonstrated experience with popular training software, tools and learning management systems and developing web-based training.
- High level interpersonal and liaison skills to facilitate the exchange of information across a compact, professional business unit as well as high level analytical, strategic planning, problem solving, interpretive, decision-making and advocacy skills.
