Training Manager - Operational Risk - Greenfield Transformation

A TIER 1 GLOBAL INVESTMENT BANK ARE URGENTLY SEEKING A TRAINING MANAGER TO MANAGE AND DELIVER TRAINING WITHIN THE OPERATIONAL RISK FRAMEWORK ON A GREENFIELD 3 YEAR TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMME.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Identify the training requirements initially for the Managers and ultimately for Operational Risk staff too
- Prepare and gain agreement for a budget to develop and provide generic training for the BRCM and Operational Risk community
- Develop a deep understanding of the Group's operational risk management framework including internal control methodology
- Ensure training modules and content are developed to achieve agreed learning outcomes and are in line with Group standards, best practice design and relevant regulatory requirements
- Establish governance and control for all aspects of the BRCM mandatory training programme and process. This includes the definition of globally consistent training priorities, demand management, design and delivery of modules and on-going programme management
- Ensuring the organisation's training requirements are met
- Responsible for delivering globally consistent training modules on time, to a high standard and within budget
- Accountable for the annual training calendar and coordinating delivery against the calendar through regional colleagues. This includes ensuring the correct employee populations are identified for receiving training and that regular reporting, tracking and escalation occurs

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE ROLE, THE TRAINING MANAGER WILL NEED TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- Experience of working in a Global Banking Risk Function. Ideally with previous exposure to a range of Credit, Market and Operational Risk environments (although not essential)
- Experience of working within a Markets and International Banking function is preferable
- Prior experience of working within a fast paced, high profile change environment is also extremely desirable
- Experience working with and effectively influencing stakeholders and colleagues at all levels of the organistion
- Experience of delivering mandated training to global employee population (preferred)
- Experience of managing eLearning projects, webex (preferred)

NOTE: THE ROLE WILL BE BASED IN LONDON BUT TRAVEL TO OTHER SITES MAY BE REQUIRED DURING THE ASSIGNMENT
